Ingredients

4 tbsp Butter

4 (8oz) Ham steaks, boneless and cut into quarters

1/2 cup packed Brown Sugar

1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

3 Honeycrisp Apples

Directions

Use an Apple Wedger to core and slice apples.

On medium heat, add butter to Enameled Cast Iron Skillet with Lid and melt. Once melted add brown sugar and Dijon Mustard, mix well and bring to a simmer.

Add apples, stir to coat, cover skillet and let simmer for 5 minutes.

Remove lid and stir again, top apples with ham steak pieces (they will overlap). Cover skillet and let simmer 10 minutes.

Remove ham with Pasta Tongs (just my preference because the "teeth" grab ahold better) and add to plates and cover the ham pieces with the saucy apple mix.

I usually serve with something simple like green beans or broccoli.
